Aether - A Landing Page for Virtual Space Travel
Aether Corp. runs guided virtual trips to the Moon, Mars, Europa, Titan, Mercury and Neptune, departing from Seattle. The landing page carries that identity end to end, built by hand from the Figma file so the art direction reaches the browser intact.

Art Direction Leaves Nowhere to Round Down
A landing page carrying this much personality is unforgiving in translation. There is no template underneath it to absorb small mistakes: the spacing, the type and the restraint are the product. And the moment a design like this includes a form, it collides with the parts of the browser that refuse to be styled.
Approach
Built by Hand, Down to the Dropdown
The page is written directly in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, so nothing sits between the design and what ships. Where the browser refused to cooperate, the control was rebuilt rather than redesigned around, and the result keeps working as a form even though none of it is native.
Result
A faithful, hand-built landing page, not an approximation of the design.
Delivered as a static site with no framework or CMS behind it, Aether stands up as a piece of art direction in the browser rather than a reasonable approximation of one.
